Local know-how
Laying drives in Wistaston
Wistaston grew quickly in the sixties and seventies, and many of the homes still have the drive they were built with. Original concrete and tarmac drives tend to be cracked, sunk and crumbling at the edges by now, so a full replacement is often the best option.
Frontages here are usually a decent size, which leaves room for a two-car drive and a path or planted border. Resin and block with a contrasting edge are the most popular choices.
We also do quite a bit of patio and garden work in Wistaston, as the back gardens are generally a good size.

Questions
Wistaston: what people ask
My concrete drive is cracked all over. Can it be overlaid?
Rarely. If it's moving, anything laid on top will crack too. It's usually best to break it out and start with a new base.
Do you do back gardens in Wistaston too?
Yes, patios, turf, artificial grass and paths.
How much does a new drive cost?
It depends on the size, the surface and how much groundwork there is, so we don't quote blind. We'll come out, measure up and give you a written, itemised price that includes digging out, the base, the surface and taking all the waste away. Say QUOTE TT when you enquire for 15% off this November.
